During the summer months of June, July and August, River City Yarns will be open:
Monday - Friday from 10 AM - 6 PM,
Saturdays 11 AM-5 PM and
Sundays 12 PM - 4 PM.
We will resume our "late night" shopping hours in the fall.

• Wool, Wine and Wheels 2009, our annual train trip to Jasper Park Lodge, this year with Canadian knitwear designer and author, Sally Melville;
• Knitty in the City, our annual fundraiser for the Alzheimers Society of AB and the NWT, which is kicking off on World Wide Knit in Public Day (June 13th). Join us for a fun day of knitty activities and if you can’t join us, please consider registering anyway – proceeds from registrations go to support the Alzheimers Society.
• We’re bringing in more fabulous handbags (perfect for knitting projects) from Namaste Needles. Pre-order to get the best selection in colour and style.
• We also have, in stock, new books and yarns from Louisa Harding; an RCY exclusive – Woobu from Blue Moon Fiber Arts (the folks who supply us with Socks that Rock); a new sterling silver stitch marker for June, and new books to review including French Girl Knits and the latest title from Sally Melville.
