We're very excited to have a new trunk show to reveal to you. From June 21 to July 3, we will have a beautiful display of garments and accessories from the designers at Rowan! On display will be four summer cardigans, two pullovers, one unisex hoodie sweater (Fishbone by Martin Storey), and several several scarves and wraps. It's one thing to see them in the pages of the Rowan Magazine and another to see them up close and personal!
We will have seven designs from Rowan Magazine 65:
Minimal, by Martin Storey is an elegant cardigan knitted in a mesh pattern using Rowan Cotton Glace. The design is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
Simple, by Martin Storey uses the stunning combination of Kidsilk Haze (mohair and silk) and Fine Lace (alpaca and wool) worked together. With a pretty mesh pattern across the sleeves and yoke this pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
Elementary, by Martin Storey uses Softyak DK (cotton, yak and nylon) - oh, so soft! Knitted in moss stitch, with three quarter length sleeves and pocket detail, this pattern is suitable for the average knitter.
Picasso, by Lisa Richardson uses Rowan’s beautiful Cotton Cashmere (cotton and cashmere). This versatile V-neck cardigan is a wardrobe classic and the pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
Kirkin, by Sasha Kagan is a using our lacy rib scarf made in Rowan Summerlite 4ply & Kidsilk Haze. This pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
Torey, by Martin Storey, is a gorgeous cardigan using a combination of Cotton Cashmere (cotton and cashmere) and Kidsilk Haze (mohair and silk). This wider fitting cardigan has statement sleeves and the pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
Cuggle, by Lisa Richardson, uses Rowan’s lovely soft, dry handle yarn Creative Linen (linen and cotton). This textured sweater has placement cables and stand up rib neckband and the pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
From Rowan’s Ocean Blue, a collection of 14 men's and women's beach inspired knits by Martin Storey, we will have his very popular Fishbone sweater made with Rowan Denim Revive! (Sorry, this sweater doesn’t come with the model.) And there will also be three designs from the Summer Horizons book:
Ruff, by Arne and Carlos, is a striking accessory scarf worked in Summerlite DK (cotton). Knitted in garter stitch using bold shades of Summerlite DK, this pattern is suitable for beginners
Comorant, by Sasha Kagan, is crocheted in Summerlite 4ply (cotton). Worked in a contrasting stripe sequence and with tassel detail, this pattern is suitable for the average crocheter.
Puffin, by Georgia Farrell, is a ladies short sleeved sweater using the beautiful yarn Summerlite DK (cotton.) Using contrasting summer shades form a stripe sequence, this pattern is suitable for the more experienced knitter.
