What It's All About

Learn to knit with a knitting pin and free up your hands to knit faster and with less stress. In this intro class, you'll learn how to tension the yarn with the knitting pin, cast on, execute the knit and purl stitches and work increases and decreases in this style. You’ll discover that the Portuguese knitting style is perfect for those who are “all thumbs”!

In this two part class, you’ll have the opportunity to work on two projects. The first will be a practice piece that you can turn into a pair of wrist warmers and the second will be getting started on the Cloud Mittens, a project from the book, Portuguese Knitting by Andrea Wong (book included in your registration fee). You bring the needles and we'll provide the instruction, patterns and the yarn!
