We have workshops for all levels of abilities and in addition to knitting, we also offer crochet and felting classes. Workshop schedules and details are included in the calendars below (click on a link). Online Registration is also available.

Are you a beginner? Need a refresher? Check out our "Knitting 101" program.
Need some help but can't commit to a regular schedule? Have a project that you need help with? We have a "Drop-In Knit Tutorial" program that has a very flexible timeline and an individualized approach to learning.
Want to meet up with other knitters and fibre artists? We have a Drop-In Knitting Circle at the store on the first Sunday of each month.
And how about some of these fun and fabulous courses? Everyone's doing it... knitting Socks, that is, and making fabulous knitted jewellery in our Crown/Spiral Beaded Bracelet workshop. Learn to knit with two colours (one in each hand!) in our Fair Isle class or bring multiple colours into play in our Intarsia workshop. Inspire your "mathematical" friends with a Moebius shawl. Make a Prayer Shawl . Learn cool new techniques. You can do it... we can help.

Registration and Payment

Payment must be made at the time of registration

Registrations are taken over the phone (780) 477-YARN (9276) or by email at rivercityyarns@shaw.ca.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Interac (in-store only) and/or cash

Limitations: Space may be limited depending on seating. If minimum enrollment is not met we reserve the right to cancel the class. A full refund will be given should this situation arise.

Other info:

If you are unable to attend a class you may ask a friend to take your place or with 7 days notice your registration fees may be transferred to another class. There is no refund on registration.
We provide coffee and tea and you are welcome to bring your own food or snacks.
We strive to keep the cost of workshops low, so we ask that your supplies be purchased from River City Yarns.
