The Grand Opening Celebration will take place at both River City Yarns locations. It's a three day event focused on showing you all the wonderful things you can do with yarn. We'll have demos happening at both locations featuring knitting Portuguese style, Thrumming, Crochet, Spinning, and more. We'll have selection fashion scarf yarns on sale and lots of project ideas to get you warmed up for winter. Not just scarves... we've got a special idea that warms the heart and the belly!

Great News! We have just finalized the dates and times for our 9th (ninth… wow, how time flies!) annual Wool, Wine and Wheels 2012 knitting retreat going to Jasper, Alberta. The 2012 trip will leave Edmonton on Friday November 2nd, returning to the city late Monday November 5th, 2012. And our guest instructor will be… Nicky Epstein! You asked us to invite her back and we did! We had so much fun with Nicky and she agreed to come back.
