Ice Queen

Another lovely beaded project, this lightweight and versatile garment works as a head covering and/or scarf. This project is amazingly easy on the yarn... it only takes one ball (approximately 200m) of a lightweight kid mohair and silk blend yarn (think Rowan Kid Silk Haze). Add a few beads and you've got a classy way to face the snow and cold this winter. The designer is Rosemary Hill and the Ice Queen pattern is found on Knitty. "And best of all? Wearing it makes you feel like a movie star!"

Our kit contains the yarn and beads required to make the Ice Queen. We currently have these kits on sale! Regular price is up to $24.99 but you can order now for $17.99. We can also provide you with knitting needles required: 5mm, 40cm circular needle for Version A, 4.5mm, 40cm circular needle for Version B and 3.75mm, 40cm circular needle (same size for both versions).

RCY Wristwarmer
River City Yarns Wrist Warmers
This quick and easy wrist warmer kit has been a best seller at River City Yarns. Pictured here in Noro Kureyon, we've also knit up pairs in Noro Silk Garden and added a strand of Rowan Kid Silk Haze (super, super soft!) and in Zitron's Nimbus yarn (100% organic merino). This pattern works well with aran weight yarns and is the perfect gift for anyone who needs their fingers free (great for driving). Knit in the round on double pointed needles, this easy rib stitch fits many sizes of hands. Our kits come with pattern, yarn and 5mm double pointed knitting needles (if required).
Head, Hands and Feet!
Stomp Hat, Wristwarmers, Socks Stomp Hat Stomp Wristwarmers Stomp Socks
Needful Yarns Stomp
is a fingering weight yarn in solid colours. With 381 yards (348 meters) on a 100g ball, you need 3 balls to complete the entire ensemble (pictured above) or take one ball and make one of the following projects.
Horizontal Corded Hat
Comes in two sizes: adult medium or large and requires one ball of Stomp yarn. Designed by Judy Head, the horizontal band of the hat is worked first in a knotted cord stitch pattern, then stitches are picked up for the crown. The raglan style decreases give the top of the hat a nice smooth shape. It is knit flat on 3.75mm needles and seamed. Our kit includes yarn, pattern and needles (if required).
Fingerless Mittens
The pattern includes two sizes: women’s medium or large (palm circumference 7.25 - 8 inches). These fingerless mitts begin at the wrist and are knitted in a corded rib pattern on 3.25mm double pointed needles. Our kit contains yarn, pattern and needles (if required).
Stomp Socks!
There are two kits available (one for men - no image provided) and one for women. The men's version requires two balls of Stomp yarn (one main colour, one contrasting colour); the women's version is knit in one ball/one colour. Both socks are worked in the round on double pointed (3.25mm) needles.
